Effects of Asiaticoside on 42 Children with Hypertrophic Scars

【Objective】 To study the effect of treating hypertrophic scars by using asiaticoside.【Methods】 42 cases with hypertrophic scars were take 3.6 mg / kg / day and use the cream 3 times / day.The change of patients's symptoms and sing were observed, the toxicity and the side effect were observed.【Results】 Asiaticoside significantly inhibited the hypertrophy of scars and softened the scars.In additions, asiaticoside had not have other toxicities and side effects, influence not growth of these children body.【Conclusion】 Asiaticoside is a drug of scar treatment that is effective, safe, useful and receptive by patients.
