Reaserch on Effective Factors in Determination of Ammonia-Nitrogen by Nessler's Reagent Colorimetry Method

The accuracy of analytical results were effected by the time of color reaction, pH and the dilution method of samples, as the determination of ammonia-nitrogen by Nessler's reagent. The three factors were tested and compared in the article. The results showed as follows: the time of color reaction was 10~30 min, the value of pH was 7~8, and the correct datas could obtained by the dilution after colorimetry under some conditions.
