Objective:To explore the effects of different doses of losartan on the treatment of diabetic nephropathy.Methods:120 cases of diabetic kidney were randomly divided into three groups for strict diabetes treatment.Group A,B and C were given losartan in a dose of 25,50,100 mg/(time.d) respectively. After 8-week treatment, serum creatinine(SCr),urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER),crea-tinine clearance rate(CCr) and lipids were detected in three groups. Results:After treatment,UAER,TC and TG were reduced significantly in the three groups(P0.05);between group B and A,group C and A the differences were statistically significant(P0.05);However,group B and C had no statistically significant difference.SCr in three groups before and after treatment had no statistical difference. The level of CCr had statistical differences before and after treatment(P0.05),but group C and A had statistical difference(P0.05).Conclusion: Losartan is safe, effective and well tolerated with no significant adverse reactions for treating diabetic nephropathy.
