Convergence and Divergence: Analysis on the Evolving Trend of Technology Relatedness——Case Study on Patentometrics of Worldwide Solar Energy Technology

It analyzes and measures the evolution of technology-relatedness by case study on patentometrics of worldwide solar energy technology,using technology co-classification analysis,and employing two indicators called mean technology co-classification partnersand mean technology co-classification index.Results show that solar energy technology has the characteristics of continuous improvement in the tension between technology convergence and divergence,and has the characteristics of evolving trend in running parallelly between technology convergence and divergence.
