A STUDY ON REFINING OF MOLTEN ALUMINUM WITH A-C AGENT

A new refining agent and a new refining technology are introduced. This refining agent can remove alki metals and hydrogen simultaneously.Experiments show that,over 90% of alki metals in the Al ingot is removed after refined with this refining agent,and the effect of degassing is also good.
