Application of SBR1712 to light truck tire tread

The application of SBR1712 to the tread of light truck tire was investigated.The results showed that when SBR1712 was used instead of SBR1500 in NR/BR/SBR tread compound,the processibility of compound improved remarkably,the heat build up of vulcanizate decreased significantly and its abrasion loss reduced,the endurance and high speed performance of finished tire improved,the temperature rising in tread decreased significantly,the wear life of tire increased and the production cost reduced.
