Determination of Alkylphenol and Alkylphenol ethoxylates in Water by GC/MS

In the article, Alkylphenol(NP, OP and p-tert-OP), Nonylphenol monoethoxylate(NP1EO), Nonylphenol diethoxylate(NP2EO), Octylphenol monoethoxylate(OP1EO) and Octylphenol diethoxylate(OP2EO) in aqueous samples were extracted with DCM and derivatized with BSTFA+TMCS then determined by GC/MS. Good linearity was obtained in the range from 0.5 mg/L to 50 mg/L and the detection limits were 1 ug/L.
