Endovascular treatment for intracranial aneurysms associated with Moyamoya disease

Objective To explore endovascular treatment for intracranial aneurysms associated with Moyamoya disease.Methods The clinical data of five cases of intracranial aneurysm associated with Moyamoya disease treated with emboliza-tion were retrospectively analyzed.Results Four of five cases presented subarachnoid hemorrhage and one intraventricu-lar hemorrhage.Four cases belonged to the major artery type and one peripheral artery type.All of the aneurysms were successfully embolized.All patients had excellent clinical outcomes.Conclusion Endovascular treatment is feasible for aneurysms associated with Moyamoya disease.
