Polymer Blends and Composites in Multiphase Systems

The use of gel permeation chromatography for the quantitative analysis of composition in mixed polymer systems is presented. Equations are developed for the determination of polymer-polymer interaction parameters for monodisperse and polydisperse polymers. Typical interaction parameters determined from the experimental data for the polystyrene-polybutadiene systems are presented.
