Analysis of Overlap Forging Process in Closed-die Forging Method and Numerical Simulation of Following Process

Overlap forging process is an economical and practical forging method.The feasibility of the overlap forging process in closed-die forging method was analyzed,and the whole process for forging step and separation step was analyzed.From these analysis,it is shown that for some forgings and some parts,the overlap forging is feasible and economical.
