Modal analysis based mechanical damage diagnosis for insulators

Based on the experimental and theoretical modal analysis,the fault diagnosis method for porcelain insulators is studied.The modal experiment platform was established,and problems of fault simulation,excitation,and data acquisition in the experiment are studied,which leads to 6-order modal vibration shapes and modal parameters in 4 working conditions.Experiments show that the crackle development will reduce the modal frequency.The theoretical modal analysis matches the experiment result.
