Myosin types in equine skeletal muscle fibres.

Type-specific anti-myosin sera were used to detect equine skeletal myosin in type I and II fibres. Type I fibres contained only slow myosin while type IIA and IIB fibres contained only fasi myosin. The rarely occurring lype IIC fibre contained both fast and slow myosin.
