Observation on the curative effect of colchicine for the treatment of hepatic cirrhosis

Objective:To observe the curative effect of colchicine for counteracting hepatic fibrosis by comparing live function andthe serum parameter of hepatic fibrosis such as HA、PCⅢ、CⅣ、LN before and after the treatment. Methods: 60 patients were dividedrandomly into two groups,regarding of their serial numbers (1) control group and (2) treatment group.The levels of ALT、AST、ALB、HA、PCⅢ、CⅣ、LN etc were measured at first and after the end of six months. Results: Liver function of the treatment group was excellenterthan that of the control group,and the serum parameters of hepatic fibrosis had declined markedly with a significant difference comparedwith the control group. Conclusion:Colchicine is safe to the patients of hepatic cirrhosis at early stage,and it has some curative effect onthe hepatic fibrosis.
