Study on process conditions of itaconic acid production by fermentation

Taking aspergillus terreus TN-474 as bacterial strains,the effect of itaconic acid fermentation process conditions on acid production was studied.The optimum medium composition and fermentation conditions were as follows: glucose 140g/L,NH4NO3 3.0g/L,dried corn steep liquor powder 0.2g/L,KH2PO4 0.05g/L,MgSO4·7H2O 0.5g/L,CuSO4·5H2O 65mg/L,initial pH 2.0,incoulum size 10%～12%,liquid volume in flask 60mL～80mL;when shaking flask fermentation reached 144h at 37℃ and 220r/min,itaconic acid yield was 71.83g/L,invert ratio was 56.7%.
