In this article are researched the properties of polyester size SL-996 and the sizing liquid and film of its mixed size with a yarn sizing effect comparison followed.The result indicates that the property of polyester size SL-996 is outstanding,specially in polyester yarn and its blended yarn sizing.It improves yarn sizing quality.This size characteristic of good size film and easy water solubility and easy desizing can be used to size warp ends by replacing PVA.I
