ZrO2 supported cobalt Fischer-Tropsch synthesis catalysts promoted with different Ru loading were prepared by incipient wetness impregnation method.Using X-ray diffraction and hydrogen temperature programmed reduction techniques were used to investigate the effect of Ru on the composition,reducibility of catalysts.The results showed that the two-step reduction peaks of cobalt oxides and cobalt nitrates in TPR profiles shifted to lower temperature,indicating that Ru increased the reduciblity of both cobalt oxide and cobalt nitrates in the catalyst.
