Pixel-level multiresolution image fusion

The multiresolution image fusion algorithm is commonly used in image fusion process and can be divided into multiresolution pyramid fusion algorithm and wavelet transformation (WT) fusion algorithm. The development, formation and merging rule of various pyramids are introduced in detail. The WT image fusion algorithm is also described, including discrete WT method, WT tree and WT frame. The performances of these two kinds of algorithms are compared at last.;
