Objective To study the expressions of and correlation between anti-mullerian hormone(AMH) and stem cell factor(SCF) in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).Methods We recruited 102 patients with PCOS and 90 controls who all had received in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer(IVF-ET) at the age of less than 35 years. The levels of AMH and SCF protein in serum and follicular fluid were examined by ELISA;the relative mRNA expression in granulosa cells was detected by real-time PCR.The relationship between AMH and SCF expressions was analyzed by Pearson's correlation. Results ① The expression of AMH was significantly increased in serum, follicular fluid and granulosa cells in PCOS group;however,SCF showed an obvious decrease in PCOS group compared with control group(P0.01).② The expressions of AMH and SCF showed a significant negative correlation in serum, follicular fluid and granulosa cells of the patients with PCOS(P0.01).Conclusion The expressions of AMH and SCF show a significantly negative correlation in serum, follicular fluid and granulosa cells of patients with PCOS.
