Two orthogonal experiments on five kinds of ordinary lithium salt were done to optimize the proportion of lithium salts.Thereby, a new type of low-melting-point eutectic salt was prepared. Its structure and thermal behavior were characterized by X-ray diffraction and differential thermal analysis respectively. The results show that the eutectic salt obtains the maximal room temperature conductivity(3.11×10-4 S·cm-1) and the lowest molten point(128 ℃) when its cemposite mole ratio is LiClO4:LiNO3:LiBr=3:4:2.The composition of eutectic salt has crucial effect on conductivity and molten point, therefore, the lithium salts with low lattice energy and molten point are appropriate choise for low-melting-point eutectic salt preparation.
