【Objective】To explore the expression of CD68 and IGF-1 in nasal polyps and their roles in the pathogenesis of nasal polyps.【Methods】Thirty patients with nasal polyps and 20 control cases were chosen. All samples were stained with SP and immunohistochemical method to examine CD68 and IGF-1 respectively.【Results】①The level of CD68 and IGF-1 in nasal polyps was all significantly higher than that in normal control specimens(P0.01).CD68 expressed in submucous tissue, and IGF-1 expressed in epithelium and inflammation cells.②The positive correlation of CD68 and IGF-1 was significant(r = 0.843,P0.01).(【Conclusion】)Cell proliferations are active in nasal polyps, especially in epithelium mucosae?glandular epithelium and inflammtion cells, play an important role in the pathogenesis of nasal polyps.
