Effect of Tanggankang on Liver Function of CCl_4-induced Liver-Injury Rat Model

Objective To observe the effect of Tanggankang on the liver function,expression of inflammatory factors in the liver and oxidative stress in the of CCl4-induced liver injury rat model.Methods Rat model were induced with CCl4 and randomly divided into 4 groups(n=4): control group,small dose of Tanggankang group,large dose of Tanggankang group and Jiangtangjia group.The effect of Tanggankang on liver function and expression of TNF-α,IL-6,SOD and MDA in the liver of liver injury rat were observed.Results The levels of ALT,AST,TNF-α,IL-6,SOD and MDA all decreased.Conclusion Tanggankang has a significant protective effect on liver function,and the mechanism may be related to the effect on lowering the inflammatory factors and oxidative stress-related indicators.
