SYNTHESIS AND APPLICATION OF CATIONIC FIXING AGENT FOR REACTIVE DYES

The cationic polymer was copolymerized by dimethyl diallylammonium chloride(DMDAAC) and the products which was synthesized by diethylenetriamine and epichlorohydrin.The influences of raw material ratio, reaction temperature, reaction time on the property of the cationic polymer were analyzed. The optimum conditions as follows: the mole ratio of diethylenetriamine, epichlorohydrin and dimethyl diallylammonium chloride is 2 : 2 : 1, reaction temperature is 80 ℃, reaction time is 4 h.The results show that using the copolymer as fixing agent in reactive dyed cotton fabric, the dry rubbing fastness could reach level 4. 5, the wet rubbing fastness of fabric could reach level 4.
