Influence of VKROC1 genetic polymorphism on warfarin dosage requirement in Chinese populations:A Meta-analysis

Objective:To evaluate the impact of VKROC1 genetic polymorphism on warfarin dosage requirement in Chinese populations.Methods:Related databases were searched,studies from 2000 to June 2011 were researched and Meta-analysis was performed using Stata 10 software.Results:Total 22 articles(3 449 patients) were included in this meta-analysis.The VKROC1 alleles in Chinese frequencies were difference from other population groups.Compared with VKROC1 AA group,warfarin dosage requirement in AG group,GG group and AG+GG group increased about 40.8%(95% CI 36.5-55.0),84.2%(95% CI 47.7-120.8) and 51.7%(95% CI: 39.6-63.8).Conclusion:The VKROC1 allele in Chinese frequencies were difference from other racial population,and there is difference in the requirement of warfarin dosage.
