摘要
This study analyzes interaction design issues in smart home products based on the cognitive characteristics of elderly users, and proposes strategies for improvement. Through literature review, case studies, and user interviews, problems such as information overload, non-intuitive operations, and lack of feedback were identified. Although smart home products offer increased convenience, the findings indicate that insufficient consideration of cognitive decline and behavioral habits among older adults results in significant usability barriers and cognitive load. Based on comparative analysis across brands and empirical data, the study suggests concrete design strategies: improving interface readability, simplifying operational flows, integrating multimodal feedback mechanisms, and optimizing emergency response systems. Ultimately, smart home design should prioritize cognitive adaptability and emotional support for elderly users to facilitate the development of truly age-friendly technologies.
