Abstract This paper proposes a planning model to enhance the flexibility coordination of source-grid-load-storage during power system transition. First, based on the coupling relationships between various resource planning schemes and demand response incentive strategies, the mechanisms of source-grid-load-storage flexibility coordination planning are analyzed, along with the sources and characteristics of system uncertainties. To address endogenous uncertainties in demand response, an incentive-based demand response model incorporating user participation levels is developed, along with a utility function dependent on user participation decision-making and a regret-based probabilistic model for user decision dependency. Furthermore, a two-stage stochastic planning model is established to maximize investment benefits for source-grid-load-storage flexibility coordination. Finally, the effectiveness and rationality of the proposed model are validated through case studies on a modified IEEE 30-node system.
