A metal–organic framework with chiral nanochannels for enantioselective fluorescence switching of amino alcohols

A water-stable luminescent chiral 3-D Co-MOF, featuring a 4 1 helical chain and a nanosized channel structure, was utilized for the enantioselective detection of R - and S -valinol in aqueous medium with "turn-on and "turn-off" behavior respectively.
