Orientation control (horizontal and vertical) of TiO2 single-crystalline nanowire arrays for high-performance gas sensing: a surface supersaturation-driven approach

We report a surface supersaturation-driven hydrothermal approach that modulates the growth orientation of TiO 2 single-crystalline nanoarrays (NAs). The horizontal NAs (TiO 2 -H-NAs) exhibit one of the best ethanol sensing performances reported to date.
