摘要
Solar ultraviolet (UV) radiation may induce adverse effects on skin health, and portable UV dosimeters are often deficient for UV dose monitoring due to their insufficient precision and/or high power consumption. We demonstrate a low-voltage UV dosimeter based on organic field-effect transistor (OFET) memory. While remaining unchanged both in the dark and under visible light, the drain current of the dosimeter decreased monotonically under 365 nm UV radiation. The change of normalized drain current coincided with the cumulative UV dose, irrespective of instantaneous UV light intensity, thereby qualifying the device as a practical UV dosimeter. With low power consumption, as well as excellent sensitivity, selectivity, and flexibility, such an electronic dosimeter has great potential in monitoring human exposure to UV radiation.
