摘要
This study demonstrates the effect of different binders on the power characteristics of carbon fluorides (CF x ) cathode material for power-type lithium primary batteries. Specifically, polymer binders, such as polyacrylic latex (LA133), poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) are utilized in the preparation of CF x composite electrodes. The selection of binders significantly influences the rate performance of Li/CF x batteries. Among the binders tested, the LA133 binder notably reduces the electrode resistance and interface impedance of the batteries compared to PVDF and CMC, resulting in outstanding rate performance at 1 C. Additionally, this study discusses the impact of binder chemistry on the overall performance of the batteries.
