Experimental assessment of stresses in enclosing rock mass of Aikhal mine

Experimental assessment of stresses has been carried out in the vicinity of temporary roadway outside the influence zone of stoping in Aikhal mine. The analysis of the research results shows that the values of stresses experimentally found in adjacent rock mass at the depth of mining are local and cannot be used for correct determination of stress state of an intact rock mass.
