The role of SCF/c-Kit in the pathogenesis of respiratory diseases

The expression of proto-oncogene c-Kit has been found in non-embryonic cells, including vascular endothelial cell, interstitial cells of Cajal and so on.Recent studies have found that SCF/c-Kit receptor complexes are involved in various aspects of respiratory diseases.The article summarizes the latest research progress of SCF/c-Kit in allergic rhinitis, bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and interstitial lung disease and so on.
