Gold-chloride electrodes for voltammetric analyses

Gold-chloride electrodes have been prepared using a simple, rapid and inexpensive method. These electrodes have been shown to be better sensors for voltammetric analyses than glassy carbon and carbon paste electrodes. The electrodes are reproducible, exhibit a stable response and are many times more sensitive than the glassy carbon and carbon paste electrodes.
