摘要
The difunctionalization and hydrofunctionalization of gem‐difluorostyrenes represent highly efficient approaches for the one‐step construction of diverse fluorine‐containing functional molecules, which hold significant application value in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and functional materials. Photocatalysis, featuring mild reaction conditions, and unique radical reaction pathways, provides a green and efficient synthetic strategy for these transformations. This review comprehensively summarizes recent advances in the photocatalytic difunctionalization and hydrofunctionalization of gem‐difluorostyrenes, including related cyclization reactions, with an emphasis on method development, substrate scope, synthetic applications, and limitations, as well as the mechanisms of these reactions.
