The growth of the electronics sector and the rapid changes in technology mean that more consumers are replacing more equipment more often than ever before. Though the actual volume of electronic waste generated in the India is not tracked, the mountain of used gadgets, computers, televisions and other electronics just keeps growing. A news report estimates a 500% growth over the next 10 years in computer waste in India alone.
