Copper(I) and cobalt(II) frameworks with a tetraphenylethene-imidazole ligand for electroreduction CO2 to CH4

Two new MOFs with different metal centers were synthesized and applied to the electroreduction of CO 2 . Cu-MOF was found to show the capacity for the electrocatalytic conversion of CO 2 to CH 4 , while Co-MOF is unsuitable due to its low stability.
