Fabric Filtration of Gas–Solid Mixtures

Fabric filtration is a cake filtration process involving the forced flow of air–particle mixtures through woven and felted material in the shape of a tube and can be readily described by the conventional cake filtration theory described previously. However, there are differences between the cake formed from liquid solid mixtures and that from fabric filtration, and their differences are described.
