Outside the backstage of encyclopedia entries in historical encyclopedias of the USSR in 1944–1972

The process of working the historical encyclopedia articles in the second half of the 20th century is investigated. The study is based on many archival sources and analysis of the first edition of The Ukrainian Soviet Encyclopedia and The Soviet Encyclopedia of the History of Ukraine.
