摘要
Metal organic frameworks (MOFs) based on tin (Sn-BDC, where BDC = benzene-1,4-dicarboxylic acid) were synthesized at 25 °C, using a simple and fast ultrasound-assisted method, as a mesoporous solid in the shape of plates. Tin oxide (SnO2), with structural purity, a tetragonal rutile phase and large surface area (30 m2 g−1), was obtained through the calcination of Sn-BDC at 600 °C. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of an isostructural Sn-BDC obtained via the ultrasound technique applied to the formation of SnO2 with a large surface area.
