Research progress of cathode materials for lithium ion batteries

The research on the modification of traditional cathode materials,and the research status and development direction of new types of cathode materials are described.The research status and methods of improving the performance of the cathode materials for orthosilicate [Li2MSiO4(M = Fe,Mn)],the cathode materials containing vanadium(V),organic cathode materials and other new types of cathode materials used in lithium ion batteries are mainly reviewed.
