Field Results of MD Filming/Flooding Trial Project in Huan-2-14-16 Block Reservoir in Liaohe

The molecular deposition(MD) filming/flooding technique for EOR presented in this paper covers injecting the aimed reservoir formation with aqueous solution of a diammonium salt,which creates on pore surfaces in the formation nanometric molecular deposition films and thus reduces the adhesion of crude oil to the surfaces with the residual crude oil reliesed and mobilized.This EOR method has lots of advantages and is suitable to reservoirs of porosity 10—40%,permeability 10×10-3 μm2,temperature 0—320 ℃,residual oil saturation 25%,oil viscosity 0.5 Pa·s at 50℃,andTSD in formation water 100 g/L.At Huan-2-14-16 unit(of area 1.1 km2),Huanxiling,Liaohe,water flooding of reservoir layer No1 of Dalinghe Formation with 7 injection and 11 production wells was started March 2001 and a percent oil production decline of 46.9% and a composite watercut of 54.5% were reached in 2005. In a field trial,totally 45.62 t of diammonium salt in 0.8 kg/m3 injection water solution in 2 slugs separated by a 30 day cease phase was injected into the reservoir layer No1 through these 7 injection wells from May 18,2006 to Oct 25,2006.In one year from June 2006 to May 2007,a raise in dynamic liquid level appeared in 8 of 11 production wells,the daily oil output averaged over every month in whole unit increased to 48.9 t and the increment in oil output in whole unit was of 3453 t,or by 5056 t more than the predicted increment.The field results of this trial showed that this EOR technique was well developed.
