A dynamic model was established for a rotor system with squeeze film damper supported on nonlinear elastic foundation,and the nonlinear response of the system was simulated with Runge-Kutta numerical method,meanwhile,an analysis was conducted of the effect of the system parameter on the response of the rotor system.According to the research,there existed many kinds of behaviors such as periodic,bifurcation,quasi-period and chaos in the system.Nonlinear characteristic of the rotor system would be more serious,with the increase of the nonlinear elastic coefficient and the eccentricity.
