Design of dielectric embedded microstrip patch Yagi antenna

A new dielectric embedded microstrip patch Yagi antenna(DE-MPYA) is researched by using Yagi antenna theory,microstrip antenna theory and dielectric superposition technology.The planar type structure is changed to a three-dimensional one,thus solving the problem that the main beam is not vertical with the plane of microstrip patch antenna.The performance tests indicate that DE-MPYA is better than the planar type microstrip patch Yagi antenna.
