Different quenching processes with different temperature have first been designed in experiment,and the best quenching process of 9Cr2Mo steel has been gotten under the biggest hardness,meanwhile the quenching processes show that 9Cr2Mo steel can be fully quenched after both water and oil quenching.Then effect of different tempering processes on hardness of 9Cr2Mo have been researched and the experiment results show that as the tempering temperature rising,the hardness of 9Cr2Mo first slowly decrease and then while the tempering temperature is above 300 ℃,the hardness decrease obviously.
