Benzene, toluene and xylene in the air was adsorbed by activated carbon, desolated by CS2,separated by OV-101 capillary column, detected by FID,and compared to the standard compounds. The peak area was chosen for quantity.Under some conditions were improved, the accuracy, precision and stability of this method were studied. Results showed that this improved method is suitable for determination of benzene, toluene and xylene in indoor air.
