Fusing High Symmetric Coordination Polyhedrons of Cu6(PIP)4, Cu12(PIP)8, and Cu12(PIP)24 into an Unprecedented Porous MOF: Synthesis, Structure, and Its Remarkable CO2 Selectivity
An unprecedented metal–organic framework, NJU-Bai6, formed by piling up the nanocages Cu 6 (PIP) 4, Cu 12 (PIP) 8, and Cu 12 (PIP) 24 through sharing faces of the “opened” triangular and square windows, has been designed and structurally characterized. Very interestingly, it exhibits the third highest selectivity of CO 2 over N 2 with the value about 60 at room temperature.
