Development of Mycoherbicides

This article describes how to select and use fungi as bioherbicides from basic idea to the registration. Despite of the easy-to-understand concept and many projects devoted to the early steps of the development of mycoherbicides, only few fungi are currently used for weed biocontrol. The limitations of mycoherbicides and a number solutions for increasing their efficacy are discussed.
