Oral penicillin in the treatment of acute mandibular pericoronitis

An effort was made to determine the effectiveness of oral penicillin in the treatment. of a common dental infection. Although the number of cases treated was small, there is a strong indication that oral penicillin may be beneficial in the treatment of acute mandibular pericoronitis.
