摘要
Many potential risks to gas field gathering pipelines stem from CO 2 corrosion. This study investigates the impact of CO 2 partial pressure, fluid velocity and total pressure on the corrosion rate of carbon steel pipelines. The corresponding corrosion morphology and corrosion product compositions are explored. A grey relational analysis is performed based on the three chosen factors and determined through an orthogonal experiment. The weight of corrosion factors follows the order of CO 2 partial pressure > total pressure > liquid velocity. Introducing a multiple linear regression approach, a dedicated model for predicting corrosion rates of gathering pipelines is built based on modified DW 95 model, which prediction accuracy is remarkably improved.
