Objective To evaluate the effect of Th1/Th2 on aplastic anemia by FCM and investigate the role of Th1/Th2 in pathogenesis of aplastic anemia. Methods The level of Th1/Th2 of CD4 +T lymphocytes cells in peripheral blood of 23 cases with aplastic anemia and 20 cases as healthy control were measured by FCM. Results The level of IFN-γ in 23 cases of aplastic anemia were significantly higher than those in the group control (P0.01),while the level of IL-4 has no change (P0.05). Conclusion The results suggest that the level of Th1 increases and the level of Th2 is nearly normal. Disbalance of Th1/Th2 leads to the hematopoietic failure and it is one of pathogenesis of aplastic anemia.
