Application of RS encoding and decoding method in tactical data link

Nowadays encoding and decoding methods are widely used in communication and computer territories. Among these, RS is one of most outstanding methods. This paper discusses RS encoding and decoding method; introduces RS typical application in tactical data link are introduced. Researches the correction quality and simulation results show that the system performance can be greatly improved when SNR is bigger than (9 dB.)
